HISTORY OF SUNBURY
Sunbury School of Calisthenics was opened in 1984 by Mrs Joan Hewett as Principal, along with coaches Helen Hewett (now Missen) and Deborah Nixon. Lessons were held at Sunbury Heights Primary School with 89 pupils taking part in the first Annual Display at the Melton Shire Hall in November 1984.
In 1988, the School became incorporated and a parent committee took over the administration. As the School continues to grow we look forward to many more successful years. Our School is very proud of its history and achievements. We value all our members and aim to give each student the opportunity to realise their full potential in a stimulating, accepting and encouraging environment.
